First of all, I don’t know what I was thinking. I specifically told M’s grandparents no battery-operated Christmas presents. Then in some sleep-deprived haze I put this animal activity ark on our wish list. Dudes, this thing is loud and there is NO volume or on/off switch! But you know what? She totally loves this thing. She knows all of the animals and can even say a few of their names. It was a huge hit. Thankfully, she doesn’t always put them in the ark. Sometimes the animals go for a ride in her wagon, along with all of her washcloths and the occasional stuffed dog.
If you ever get the Little People nativity set then I’m sure you’d see baby Jesus, angels and shepherds playing in places you’d never imagine, too! In fact, I think Eva is giving baby Jesus and the donkey a bath in the sink right now.
